Introducing TeleZura.

It’s a rare thing that a band arrives on the scene with songwriting prowess and musical dexterity way beyond their years. TeleZura is that band.

The Derry quartet comprises guitarist Adam Robinson (18) and singer Jack Doherty (20), with Ben McDermott (19) on bass and Aedan O’Doherty (19) on drums. Understated, heartfelt and real, but with the tenacity to step up and let their music speak, this no-nonsense foursome is determined to take on the world, and win; their first chapter is right now.

TeleZura is a band of significance, with an underlying vulnerability wrapped up in undeniable poise. Jack, Adam, Ben and Aedan are four wonderfully refreshing musicians, fearing nothing and everything all at once. Just like his bandmates, Jack Doherty is a rockstar in-the-making. He’s got the swagger of a star, but the fresh rawness of a 20 year-old lad from Derry. And it’s this imperfectly beautiful mix that defines his vocal delivery, which is beautifully complemented by an always-polished studio production.

Heartfelt Summer

Their out-of-the-box capacity to turn teenage emotion into a radio-ready hit is unmistakable in TeleZura’s critically-acclaimed and intricately-crafted debut single Heartfelt Summer. The upbeat summer anthem is about good times – but the band’s lyrical and musical depth is found in what lies beneath; astute layers that reveal a beautifully produced song, at its heart, about loss.

Wish It All Away

In the Wish It All Away music video, we see glimpses of fragility when the band is out of their rehearsal space. But with instruments in hand these are four lads in complete control, instilling a palpable on-camera confidence. The video presents an undeniably-Derry band; a band owning their city, and making it theirs.
